Palmette Pendant · Bronze
The palmette is one of the oldest decorative motifs in human history — a fan-shaped form drawn from the palm leaf, pressed into stone, painted onto pottery, carved above doorways from ancient Egypt to classical Greece to Art Deco facades. This pendant carries that lineage in bronze, the repeating motif hand-pressed across the entire face, each fan form radiating outward in fine lines, edge to edge, nothing left unattended.
Formed from bronze metal clay, hand pressed, and fired in a kiln, the half-moon silhouette wears horizontally — the chain threading through two points at either end of the flat edge, the pendant sitting wide and low at the collarbone like a small bib or collar piece. The orientation alone sets it apart. It does not hang. It rests.
Just over an inch across, it sits close and considered against the skin. The hand-pressed surface catches light differently depending on angle, shadow pooling in the recessed lines, warmth gathering at the raised peaks. It layers naturally with other Relic pieces or wears alone as something complete and quietly distinctive.
Some forms have persisted for four thousand years because they are simply right. This is one of them.
Every Opaline Sprout piece is thoughtfully designed and intentionally constructed for real, everyday wear. We choose materials for durability, comfort, and long-term beauty - not just appearance.
This piece is made with:
To preserve the finish and longevity of your piece, we recommend removing jewelry before showering, swimming, or applying lotions and perfumes. While our materials are selected for durability and everyday wear, minimizing prolonged exposure to moisture and chemicals will help maintain the integrity.
Store pieces separately in a dry place to prevent scratching or unnecessary friction. A soft pouch or lined jewelry box is ideal. For light cleaning, gently wipe with a dry, lint-free cloth to restore shine.
With normal wear and mindful care, your jewelry is designed to retain its structure, finish, and polish over time. Should your piece ever need attention, our studio is here to help.
Orders ship within 3–7 business days from our studio. We offer a 30-day return window for unworn pieces and remain available for repair support if needed. Our work is studio-backed, not mass-produced.
