Opaline x Rising: Metal Clay Workshop — Make Your Own Silver Pendant
A beginner-friendly evening where you sculpt, stamp, and set stones into a silver pendant that's entirely your own. No experience needed.
Ever wanted to make real, wearable silver jewelry with your own two hands? This is your chance.
In this hands-on workshop hosted at Rising, you'll learn the basics of metal clay — what it is, how it works, and how to shape it into a one-of-a-kind pendant. You'll roll, cut, texture, and set a stone into your own design, guided step by step with no prior experience required.
Once your piece is built and refined in class, it heads back to our studio to be kiln-fired, pickled, and polished into solid, wearable silver. It'll be ready for pickup at Rising in 3–5 days.
Come solo for a night to yourself, bring your friends for a girls' night, or book the table for a birthday, bachelorette, or bridal party.

Student Cancellations
- Email alex@opalinesprout.com with your name and workshop date to cancel.
- 7+ days before the workshop: Full refund, or transfer your spot to a future workshop date at no charge.
- 3–6 days before the workshop: 50% refund, or transfer your spot to a future workshop date at no charge.
- Within 48 hours of the workshop: Non-refundable. You're welcome to send someone else in your place — just email us their name in advance so we can update the roster and waiver.
- No-shows: Non-refundable, no credit issued.
Workshop Cancellations (by us)
- This workshop requires a minimum number of registered students to run. If the minimum isn't met, we'll notify everyone at least one week before the date.
- If we cancel for any reason (including low enrollment), you'll receive a full refund or the option to move to another available date — your choice.
- In the rare case of an emergency, illness, or unsafe conditions (e.g., severe weather) that forces us to cancel with less notice, all registered students will receive a full refund or a guaranteed spot at the next available date.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY, RELEASE, AND INDEMNITY
This Waiver of Liability and Release (“Release”) is executed as part of the essential consideration for Student’s viewing of, listening to, and/or participation in a workshop/class, seminar, class, demonstration or teaching session, whether at a physical site chosen by Instructor, or by video or telephone conference, or by any Social Media (collectively, a “Workshop/class”), as well as any future Workshop/class arranged by Instructor or an Affiliate, whenever and wherever such Workshop/class is provided by Instructor, or by a colleague, affiliate or guest instructor arranged by Instructor (an “Affiliate”), regardless of whether such Affiliate is named in this Release.
NOTE: This Release Contains a Release of Liability and Indemnity Agreements
Instructor: Opaline Sprout, LLC, dba Opaline Sprout, including all members, managers, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, successors, and assigns of Instructor (collectively, “Instructor”).
By accepting this Waiver of Liability and Release, you, the student, understands and agrees that:
1. ASSUMPTION of RISK: There is an inherent risk of injury arising from the use of the tools, equipment, and machinery, including, but not limited to, hand tools, saws, hammers, drills, torches, pressurized tanks, chemicals, metal and minerals in connection with metalsmithing and the making of jewelry, sculpture, and other art objects (collectively, the “Tools + Materials”). Accordingly, as part of the specific consideration for participation in the Workshop/class, Student, hereby, assumes all risk of accident, injury, illness, damage, loss, or death to Student, or others, as a result of any and all activity arising out of, or in connection with, (a) the use or misuse of the Tools + Materials, (b) any theft, or loss, of property, and (c) participation in the Workshop/class regardless of whether the use or misuse was by Student or another individual (the “Potential Damage”).
2. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Student agrees that Instructor’s liability, if any, for any Potential Damage is limited to the amount of the fee paid for participation in the Workshop/class, or $250, whichever is less.
3. RELEASE: Student hereby releases, acquits, and forever discharges Instructor from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action, and suits related, directly or indirectly, to (a) any Potential Damage, and (b) the relationships of Instructor, Affiliate, and Student, and (c) Student’s participation in the Workshop/class (the “Potential Claims”).
4. INDEMNITY: Student also, hereby, expressly indemnifies and holds harmless Instructor, Affiliate, and all other Workshop/class participants from and against any and all Potential Claims and Potential Damages arising, directly or indirectly, from the negligence of the following persons whether such negligence is joint or several, partial, complete or contributory: (a) the negligence of Instructor, for Instructor’s conduct, (b) the negligence of any Affiliate, for Affiliate’s conduct, (c) the negligence of any participant in a Workshop/class, or such participants conduct, and (d) the negligence of Student for Student’s conduct.
5. CHOICE OF LAW: Student agrees that this Release is made in Georgia and is subject to, and shall be construed and interpreted under, the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its choice of law rules.
I have read and understood the foregoing Release and Indemnity
By purchasing this workshop, I confirm that I have fully and completely read, and understand, this Waiver of Liability and Release, understand that it has legal consequences and is a binding contract, and I represent that I have had the opportunity to review this contract with an attorney of my choice or have waived that right.
