The Alhambra — Al-Qal'at al-Ḥamrā' in Arabic, meaning The Red Castle — is a 13th century palace and fortress in Granada, Spain, considered the apex of Moorish art and architecture. This pendant carries that lineage. Cast in 925 sterling silver using the lost wax method, the scalloped silhouette radiates outward from a central AA grade 6×4mm oval garnet in concentric layers of stamped pattern, the oxidized silver deepening every recess into shadow. Sits 1.2 inches long and 0.8 inches wide on a dainty sterling silver cable chain adjustable between 16, 18, and 20 inches. Handmade in our Georgia studio.
